Private Dig, Guided Treasure Hunt Gemstone Mining Trip 5-person

This will include a 5-person voucher to be granted access to dig at a private emerald mine. The mine is located in the famous town of Hiddenite North Carolina. This small town is known for its rare gems and world class emeralds. Some of the biggest & most expensive emeralds the world have been discovered here! More than 60 different gems and minerals can be found in this area. Emerald, Tourmaline, Hiddenite, Aquamarine, Quartz Crystal, Smokey Quartz, Citrine, Amethyst, Garnet, Red Rutile, Golden Rutile, Pyrite, Rose Quartz, etc. Some of the gems and crystals that have been discovered at this mine are absolutely amazing one single crystal we found weighed 130 POUNDS!!

We are located in the foothills of the beautiful Brushy Mountains 1 hour north of Charlotte, North Carolina. The mine is not open to the public, so no need to worry about social distancing here. This is a large property with more than enough room of everyone.

Once purchased, you will have up to 6 months use your voucher this is non refundable. When choosing your dig date please give a minimum 1 week prior notice before your scheduled dig. Year round digs are available. Please keep in mind that summertime temperatures can get very hot here. Typically winter, spring and fall are the best months to come dig with an average winter daytime temperature of 50 degrees.

Voucher will permit 5 people access each additional guest will be charged a $25 entry fee with a 15 person maximum per group. Anyone attending this event must sign a waiver before being granted access to the mine. Persons under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
